Rembrandt's The Night Watch
Completed in 1642 by Rembrandt van Rijn, The Night Watch is one of the most famous Dutch Golden Age paintings.
The large oil-on-canvas painting is famed for transforming a group portrait of a civic guard company into a compelling drama energized by use of light also known as clair obscur. Translated to icons on our white crew socks, white organic T-shirt and as a giftable sock two-pack.
Vermeer's The Milkmaid
Johannes Vermeer is one of the Netherlands most famous 17th-century painters, celebrated for his intimate and serene domestic scenes.
One of his masterpieces is The Milkmaid (Dutch: Het melkmeisje), sometimes called The Kitchen Maid, an oil-on-canvas painting of a "milkmaid", painted in circa 1658. Pictured as an icon on our white crew socks and black organic T-shirt.
