MODAL Tencel™ avoids deforestation, chemical waste, and sketchy supply chains. It’s made from renewable beechwood, mostly from certified forests, and processed in a closed-loop system that recycles water and solvents. It’s approach of reducing waste at both the production and disposal stages, are key principles of circularity. Also, the wood comes from forests that are either certified or carefully managed, always meeting strict standards like FSC® or PEFC.

Science with a soft touch
TENCEL™ Modal is made from wood pulp using a smart version of the viscose process. Think of it as a resource-friendly recipe where most of the ingredients (aka chemicals) get reused. The wood pulp is dissolved, filtered, snipped and spun into soft fibers ready to be turned into clothes that feel good on your skin and your conscience.
