Modal is a soft, wood-based fibre commonly used in comfortable underwear. TENCEL™ is Lenzing's brand name for certain fibres, including TENCEL™ Modal.
Micromodal refers to modal fibres made with an especially fine fibre structure. While these materials are closely related, not all modal underwear is automatically micromodal underwear.
